Mr. Nickell was awarded his 6th degree black in Karate and Ju Jitsu from Soke Don Madden. In the past he has been an active member of team AKJU. Inducted into both the EUSAIMAA marital art and tactical hall of fame and is currently working with the AKJU in developing a modern combative program. Mr. Nickell has 18 years of service within the criminal justice system and holds several instructor licenses from government and private training originations. In addition he is the founder and chief instructor for ZNN Tactical Training Team LLC. (Tacticaltrainingteam.com) Mr. Nickell’s main area of teaching falls under subject control, defensive tactics, use of restraints, less lethal devices, legal use of force and C.E.R.T. operations.
